Shock Dating on Iranian Banking Network’s Balance Sheet
The real macroeconomic instability and frequent changes in the monetary and banking regulations with financial contagion to the banks’ financial statements in the banking network of Iran cause intensified instabilities in its financial behaviors. In this paper, using statistical analysis and three-dimensional charts, we have analyzed the behavior of the financial statements of consolidated bala...
متن کاملShock propagation and neutrino oscillation in supernova
The effect of the shock propagation on neutrino oscillation in supernova is studied paying attention to evolution of average energy of νe and ν̄e. We show that the effect appears as a decrease in average νe (in case of inverted mass hierarchy, ν̄e) energy at stellar surface as the shock propagates. It is found that the effect is significant 2 seconds after bounce if 3× 10 < sin θ13 < 10 .
متن کاملA Theory of Banking Structure
This paper proposes a theory to analyze the specialization of banking activities based upon the di erent functions that banks perform when rendering a variety of nancial services. The functional di erence in the services performed by banks is based upon two dimensions: the degree of information asymmetry involved in providing the service, and the degree of veri ability of the value of the servi...
متن کاملBanking Market Structure, Financial Dependence and Growth
This paper explores the empirical relevance of banking market structure on growth. There is substantial evidence of a positive relationship between the level of development of the banking sector of an economy and its long-run output growth. Little is known, however, about the role played by the market structure of the banking sector on the dynamics of capital accumulation. This paper provides e...
متن کاملDebtRank: A Microscopic Foundation for Shock Propagation
The DebtRank algorithm has been increasingly investigated as a method to estimate the impact of shocks in financial networks, as it overcomes the limitations of the traditional default-cascade approaches. Here we formulate a dynamical "microscopic" theory of instability for financial networks by iterating balance sheet identities of individual banks and by assuming a simple rule for the transfe...
